It's the phases that matter.
Every type of matter goes through phases. And here, we will talk about them.
Solids
Liquids
Gases
Plasma
Solids have tightly packed particles in a fixed structure, giving them a definite shape and volume. Liquids have particles close together but able to move around, taking the shape of their container but maintaining a definite volume. Gases have widely spaced particles that move freely, lacking a definite shape or volume. Plasma, a superheated gas, has electrons stripped from its atoms, creating a mixture of ions and free electrons, allowing it to conduct electricity. These four phases represent the diverse ways matter can organize itself, each with unique properties and behaviors.
